My Services

What therapy with me may feel like

Therapy with me feels supportive, reflective, and empowering. You’ll be encouraged to explore your experiences with gentle curiosity, shifting away from “What’s wrong with me?” toward “What happened to me, and how has it shaped me?”

Some sessions may feel deeply emotional and insightful, while others may focus on practical strategies that help you cope day-to-day. Throughout our work, you can expect consistency, compassion, and genuine care.

My Therapeutic Approach

My work is rooted in Person-Centred Experiential Therapy (PCET) - a model built on empathy, authenticity and a deep respect for your lived experience. This creates the foundation for a trusting, collaborative relationship where you can feel understood without pressure or judgment.

Drawing from this base, I use an integrative approach to tailor therapy to your unique needs, weaving together insights and techniques from:

  • Transactional Analysis (TA)

  • Psychodynamic Therapy

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Couples Therapy (CTfD)

Because every individual and every story is different, our work adapts to you - not the other way around.

What I Can Help With

I welcome adults of all ages and backgrounds. Some of the areas I commonly support include:

  • Understanding thoughts, feelings and emotions

  • Anxiety, panic & overwhelm

  • Trauma (past or recent)

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Couples communication & conflict

  • Self-esteem & self-worth

  • Stress & burnout

  • Childhood experiences affecting adulthood

  • Life/role transitions

  • Loss

  • Feeling stuck or lost

  • Emotional regulation

  • Repeating patterns in relationships or behaviour

If you’re unsure whether therapy with me is right for you, you’re warmly invited to get in touch.

What to Expect

Your first session is a gentle, welcoming space. You don’t need to prepare or know exactly what to say. It’s completely natural to feel nervous, many people do.

We’ll spend time getting a sense of each other, talking about what’s brought you here, exploring what you’d like to get out of therapy & answering any questions you have.

There’s no pressure to open up more than you want to. You set the pace.

Therapy is a collaborative process. We work together to understand your experiences, explore patterns, and build tools that support your emotional wellbeing. Each session is shaped around your needs on that particular day.
